Ballet |
The foundation of all dance forms. Body placement, flexibility, alignment, strength and technique are achieved through barre and center floor work based on the French and Vaganova techniques and a variety of other techniques. |

|
Jazz |
Students will learn both classical and contemporary jazz styles with a ballet foundation. With an emphasis on ease of movement, dancers work to develop technique,
flexibility, aesthetic awareness, strength, expression, and personal style. They will learn combinations and
progressions while working basic leap and
turn technique. |
|
|
|
|
|
Tap |
Classes will emphasize rhythm, style and sound. Students will study basic tap steps, time steps, combinations and rhythms with and emphasis on developing proper tap technique and producing clear tap sounds. Among other styles, the Studio primarily teaches the Broadway rhythm style of tap. |
|
|
|
|
|
Stretch |
Stretch is a half hour class devoted to instructor lead stretching. This class is a warm-up for Intermediate and Advanced jazz as well as a good supplemental class for lower level Prep jazz classes. |
|
|
|
|
|
Combo |
Dancers in Combo classes participate in two 8 week sessions that teach two dance styles each (musical theater/pom, hip hop/jazz). In January dancers choose two styles to dance in the Showcase. |
|
|
|
|
|
Debut Combo |
These classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of ballet and tap to younger children using proper terms and technique from the beginning. Classes are taught in a specially designed room to promote imagination and creativity. These classes have a maximum of fifteen students. An assistant will be provided in classes with more than ten students. |

|
|
|
|
Hip Hop |
Free style movement that incorporates pop and lock with jazz to create a unique dance form. Instructors teach the latest trends and styles from pop artists such as Brittany Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and Christina Agulara. |
|
|
|
|
|
Musical Theatre |
Musical Theatre class teaches dancers to develop performance technique, facial expression and overall stage presence. They will study the popular styles of Broadway greats from Bob Fosse to Jerome Robbins. Students will learn to create understanding with an audience through the philosophy of acting while dancing. |

|
|
|
|
Pom |
These classes introduce students to the basics of pom pon's, including ripples, kick lines, showmanship and formations. Pom dances are taught and performed, and students learn the auditioning process for school drill teams. |
|
|
|
|
|
T.N.T. |
T.N.T. or Team in Training are Regional Team classes that teach ballet, jazz and tap technique. Dancers also learn one routine that they will compete at two regional competitions. These are excellent classes for dancers who wish to move onto the National team. |
|
|
|
|
|
WOW |
"Winners on Wheels" is a program that matches dancers with certain disabilities with able bodied dancers called "shadows". Dancers use wheel chairs and their arms while the "shadows" are their legs. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
